This week, Litttle Lotus and I attended an Autumn Equinox Celebration with a homeschool group that we’re members of.
I love being a member of a homeschool group because:
1) It gives my daughter a chance to play with other kids.
2) It gives me an opportunity to be around other homeschool parents.
3) Through the outings, we are usually exposed to a brand new place or activity.

This was our first event with this bunch of homeschoolers in about a year. One of my favorite aspects of this collective is that there is absolutely no pressure to attend (or be on time for that matter).
As a homesteading homeschooling single mom, to say my plate is full is the understatement of the year. Knowing that we can hangout with other homeschool families as our time permits is very supportive.
