Last week I began buying lattice panels from Lowe’s in order to make a skirt to cover the crawl space under our house. Each panel cost just under $12.

I screwed the lattice to the bottom of our siding with 3/4 inch long screws. I like to use the crawl space to store materials, so I wanted to keep the screws short and easy to remove.

I’ve almost completed both sides of our house, and I’m really happy with the outcome. It was a simple, affordable project that really paid off aesthetically.
